The IR Club Switzerland has 83 members throughout Switzerland. A large proportion of the companies are based in the Zurich area, but we also have many members in other regions. With the many online events, there are offers for everybody, but isn't it best when you can meet up and discuss IR matters over a beer or glass of wine?
We revived the regional chapters again this year and thanks to the cooperation with SIX we were able to expand the circle to more regions and also received direct support from various companies that hosted the chapters. We also learned a lot about the companies and IR.
At Baloise, the CFO showed us his exciting view on investor relations. In Lucerne, we were given an insight into Emmi's development and the incredible number of products that are on the market worldwide. We were also able to enjoy a few of them at the aperitif. In St. Gallen, Helvetia's IR team gave us an insight into their challenges, which were then diligently discussed over an aperitif. Last but not least, the CFO of BCV introduced us to the history of Château de Montagny outside of Lausanne and the sommelier in charge explained what it takes to make these delicious wines at the wine tasting.
We are planning to continue the series next year and extend it to other locations and are already looking forward to welcoming as many IR representatives as possible to exchange ideas. Companies in St. Gallen, Lucerne and Geneva have already spontaneously offered the next location during the event. Stay tuned ...
A big thank you once again to our hosts Baloise, Emmi, Helvetia and BCV. They made it possible for us to hold the meeting and thus gave the starting signal for further events with hopefully even more participants.
