Following the positive response to our Regional IR Connect Meetings last year, we continued the series in 2026, bringing the IR community together outside the Zurich region for informal exchange, new perspectives and, of course, a good apéro.
This year, four Regional IR Connect Meetings took the Swiss IR Club and SIX to Cham, Basel, Vevey and Roggwil. Each gathering had its own character, but they all shared the same idea: creating an opportunity for Investor Relations professionals to meet locally, exchange experiences and discuss the topics currently shaping their day-to-day work.
From larger gatherings to more intimate groups, the meetings once again showed the value of bringing the Swiss IR community together face-to-face.
Landis+Gyr (Cham) – June
We kicked off this year’s Regional IR Connect series in Cham, where Landis+Gyr welcomed the community to their brand new office with a presentation on the company, followed by an engaging discussion and informal networking over drinks. It was a great opportunity for IR professionals from the region to catch up with familiar faces, make new connections and exchange ideas in a relaxed setting.
Basilea (Basel) – August
In August, Basilea welcomed our Basel community to their offices. A particular highlight was a visit from Basilea’s CFO, who joined the group for an engaging discussion together with the IR team. The open exchange provided an opportunity to hear different perspectives, ask questions and discuss topics relevant to the day-to-day work of IR professionals. Afterwards, the conversations continued over an apéro in a more informal atmosphere.
Nestlé (Vevey) – September
Our September meeting in Vevey brought us to Nestlé and to a truly memorable setting at their headquarters. The impressive location and beautiful views provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of networking and conversation. Following an IR presentation from our hosts, participants had plenty of time to continue the exchange while enjoying drinks and some food.
Arbonia / RWD Schlatter (Roggwil) – September
We rounded off this year’s Regional IR Connect Meetings in Roggwil with Arbonia and RWD Schlatter. The group may have been smaller, but that made the gathering all the more personal. A tour offered participants a fascinating look behind the scenes at RWD Schlatter’s production facilities before everyone came together for some informal networking. It was an intimate, relaxed and particularly enjoyable way to conclude this year’s series.
Looking ahead
The Regional IR Connect Meetings have become a valuable complement to our larger events, creating space for local connections and conversations in an informal setting. Whether during a company presentation, while touring a host’s facilities or simply chatting over a drink, these gatherings allow IR professionals to share experiences, exchange ideas and strengthen connections across Switzerland.
