Please tell us a bit about your background and what motivated you to pursue a career in Investor Relations. Which aspects of the role do you find most exciting?
My career started after university in asset management, where I built a strong foundation in financial analysis, portfolio construction, and capital markets. This experience gave me early exposure to how investors think, how investment decisions are made, and what drives value creation from a buy-side perspective.
What I find most exciting about Investor Relations is the combination of strategic thinking, exposure to capital markets, and communication. The role requires a deep understanding of the business, close collaboration with senior leadership, and an ongoing dialogue with investors and analysts—particularly in times of uncertainty or market volatility.
I also value the forward-looking dimension of Investor Relations: anticipating key topics, understanding market expectations, and helping shape how the company presents itself over time. That mix of analytical rigor, storytelling, and relationship-building is what makes the role both challenging and highly rewarding for me.

As an IRO working in an increasingly volatile environment, how has the IR Club and its network supported you?
What I’ve found particularly valuable about the Swiss IR Club is the practicality and openness of the network. Having access to peers who face very similar challenges allows me to quickly understand how others are positioning topics with investors and how situations are interpreted across sectors.
Often, the most useful insights come not from formal presentations, but from informal exchanges and candid discussions where people share what is resonating—or not—with the market.
The IR Club has also helped me stay ahead of increasingly relevant topics such as evolving disclosure expectations and activism dynamics.
-
As a board member of the Swiss IR Club, which topics or initiatives would you like to drive, and where do you see potential for improvement?
As a board member, I would like to focus on events and initiatives that reinforce the Club’s role as a trusted, hands-on forum for Investor Relations professionals in an increasingly demanding market environment. In particular, I see value in deepening real-life case discussions and offering targeted deep dives into governance and capital markets topics.
In terms of potential for improvement, I see an opportunity to explore the creation of a platform or event that recognises and awards excellence in Investor Relations in Switzerland. Such an initiative could raise the visibility of the profession, celebrate best-in-class practices, and further strengthen the Swiss IR Club’s role as a leading voice in the market.
My overall ambition is to help ensure that the Swiss IR Club continues to be seen as a pragmatic, credible, and forward-looking platform that consistently adds value to its members.
